Mosquitos and Bioswales

This is a report on mosquito breeding in bioswales in Delaware that Randy Greer of DNREC passed along to me recently. It offers some troubling data on potential mosquito production from these areas, and some prevention techniques.

Delaware Stormwater Strategy

Although only a portion of Delaware drains to the Bay, the State is experiencing water quality problems in the fast-growing watersheds that discharge to the Atlantic Coastal Bays. Therefore, a State-wide approach focus is appropriate for the Delaware stormwater action plan.
